PrivacyContent Management Professionals has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for its web site www.cmprofessionals.org (also known as www.cmpros.org).Use of IP Address and Cookies Your IP address is used to help identify you and your shopping cart. Our site uses cookies to keep track of your shopping cart. We use cookies to save your password so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site, and for other purposes such as maintaining a shopping cart across visits. Personal Information The association membership forms require users to give us contact information (like their name and email address) and financial information (like their account or credit card numbers) when registering for membership, a conference, or when purchasing a product.
CM Pros does not rent, sell, or give away email addresses, telephone numbers, or fax numbers for members or visitors. Members may opt-out of having their name shared with external companies and organizations; see the choice/opt-out section of the member profile area. Personal and financial information collected for conference registration or for purchase of products and services will not be sold or rented in any form. Financial information that is collected is used solely to charge for conference registration, or to bill the user for products and services. Our online surveys ask visitors for contact information (such as their email address) and demographic information (such as their zip code or years of experience, for example). Personal information from surveys will not be shared with anyone. Contact information from a survey will be used only to answer direct questions or respond to complaints. Most surveys are anonymous, and contact information is always optional. Obligation to receive communications As a member, you are obligated to receive two types of information from CM Pros: - Election news - You must agree to receive the opportunity to run for office, and CM Pros must be able to send you information each year about how to vote for new Board members. - Membership renewals - You must agree to receive membership renewal information in order to know that your membership will expire or has expired, and instructions for how to renew.
